Individuals with muscle disorders should exercise caution, particularly those with a history of myasthenia gravis. Moxifloxacin can lead to severe side effects, including tendon issues, nerve damage, and mood or behavioral changes. If you experience symptoms like headache, irritability, numbness, or sudden joint pain, stop taking the medication and contact your healthcare provider immediately. In rare cases, moxifloxacin may cause aortic damage, leading to life-threatening complications. Seek emergency medical help if you encounter severe pain in your chest, abdomen, or back. Avelox is not intended for those under 18 years of age. Its effects on unborn babies are not fully understood, so consult your physician if pregnant. Additionally, avoid breastfeeding while using this medication. Always follow your healthcare provider?s instructions and take Avelox precisely as prescribed.
