SUBSTANCE GHRH Peptide

Discover the remarkable benefits of CJC-1295, a powerful synthetic analogue of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) comprised of 30 amino acids. This peptide is designed to enhance growth hormone secretion and elevate IGF-1 levels effectively, all while preserving the natural pulsatile release of growth hormone.

CJC-1295 is often combined with Ipamorelin for optimal results, thanks to its focused action as a GHRH. While Ipamorelin also promotes growth hormone release, it does so without the unwanted side effects such as increased appetite or elevated levels of cortisol, acetylcholine, prolactin, and aldosterone that can occur with other peptides in its class. This makes CJC-1295 a well-tolerated and synergistic choice alongside Ipamorelin.

Target Gland: Pituitary

- Amplified growth hormone and IGF-1 secretion without raising prolactin levels
- Enhanced body weight and length through increased protein synthesis
- Improved muscle growth and development
- Boosted bone density
- Strengthened immune function
- Enhanced cognitive abilities and memory retention
- Promoted collagen production
- Accelerated fat loss
- Augmented cellular repair and regeneration

Benefits of CJC-1295:

This peptide also promotes deep, restorative slow-wave sleep, vital for optimal muscle growth, memory consolidation, and overall rejuvenation.

Produced naturally in the hypothalamus, GHRH triggers the release of growth hormone from the pituitary gland. Notably, GHRH has a short half-life of just a few minutes, which means it is quickly cleared from circulation, limiting its effectiveness.

Types of CJC-1295:

The active portion of GHRH consists of the first 29 amino acids, forming the synthetic peptide known as Sermorelin. CJC-1295 has been further modified to extend its half-life to 30 minutes. An advanced version, CJC-1295 + DAC (Drug Affinity Complex), binds with blood protein albumin, extending its half-life to about 8 days. Alternatively, CJC-1295 can be formulated without DAC to mimic a more natural surge of growth hormone each night.

With DAC, injections are only needed once or twice a week. However, this prolonged presence in the bloodstream may lead to continuous stimulation of growth hormone release, which could diminish growth hormone pulse amplitude and reduce its tissue-stimulating effects.

To maintain optimal pituitary function, it is recommended to take "hormone holidays" of three months every three to six months when using long-acting CJC molecules. During these breaks, consider switching to Sermorelin instead of CJC-1295 + DAC.

Safety:

These breaks help mitigate the risk of developing resistance to growth hormone, which could occur if antibodies form against it or if the number of growth hormone receptors decreases (down-regulation). While these concerns are theoretical, extensive long-term studies are still needed for confirmation.

Possible side effects of CJC-1295 include localized reactions at the injection site (irritation, redness, swelling, pain, or itching), headaches, diarrhea, vasodilation (flushing, warmth, transient hypotension), nausea, and abdominal discomfort.
