With its extended half-life due to DAC, CJC-1295 may only require injections once or twice a week. However, this prolonged presence in the bloodstream can lead to consistent stimulation of growth hormone release that may not mimic physiological norms, potentially reducing the amplitude of growth hormone pulses and decreasing tissue stimulation.
For optimal results, it's recommended to take "hormone holidays" lasting three months every three to six months while using a long-acting CJC molecule. During these breaks, Sermorelin is favored over CJC-1295 + DAC.
