- Disinfect the injection site with alcohol.
- Pinch the skin around the injection site, leaving approximately 2 cm on either side.
- Hold the syringe at a 90-degree angle to the skin and inject swiftly.
- Press the plunger completely down until the syringe is empty, then withdraw it gently.
